Maths Camp
On the 24th – 25th September, three students from Yr 7, Heather G, Bethany L and Mia W., attended a maths camp organized by CEN maths teachers at the Camp Kedron in Ingleside, Sydney. The girls had a great time learning new maths skills and meeting new friends. Bethany L writes – ‘One of the highlights of the camp was meeting new people from other schools. The Amazing Race activity was a new experience, running around the campsite finding the right station and solving the maths problems. In free time, a group of us went through the winding, dirt tracks and thick bushland to a small water hole in the National park. If was fun to hang out with kids from other schools and talk about funny moments. Overall the camp was a fun and interesting experience.’
