Nowra Wildlife Park experiences Kindergarten and Year 1

Kindy and Year One had a fantastic time at our excursion to Nowra Wildlife Park on Wednesday. We started the day with a talk from one of the rangers called Trent. We learnt all about mammals, amphibians, reptiles and birds. We even had to walk and talk like the different animals which was lots of fun! Then we got to have a look at a few of the animals. We patted a baby crocodile and learnt that when it is fully grown they can be up to 6m long! We also got to pat a snake called Monty. We saw lots of animals including koala’s, kangaroos, goats, camels, monkeys, ponies and emus. We had lunch and then we got to feed some of the animals which was lots of fun. Overall it was a fabulous day and we were lucky that it only rained lightly and it wasn’t until we were getting in the bus to go home that it started to get heavier. Thank you to all the parents who came along to make it such a great day!
